What’s new in Inperia

We keep improving the platform. Here’s every notable change.

v1.9.0

Courses, maps and members without an email

Courses Maps Members
  • Courses (Growth and Expansion plans): build the catalog of what your church teaches, with its lessons, the attendance needed to pass and the courses it asks for first, and teach each one to a group or to a single person. Every class has its attendance roll and its homework, finishing a group records who passed, and each student sees their courses and asks for a place in the ones that are open.
  • Maps: place your church, each house and each place in the agenda, with “Get directions” wherever there’s an address, and filter Members, Contacts, Cell groups and Care by city. On the Expansion plan, the houses, the calendar and the church network also show on a map, and Reports shows where your members live.
  • Members without an email: add, import or convert a contact even without an email; the address is only needed to invite the person.
  • Every screen comes back as you left it: when you return to a screen, you find it with its tab, search, filters, order, page and view.

Fixes

  • Lists that open filtered by status, such as Follow-ups, the contacts’ follow-ups and Cell groups, now count that filter, and “Clear filters” shows every status.
  • An Inperia announcement no longer shows up twice in the bell.
v1.8.0

The version in your account menu, and your language from the very first screen

Help Cell groups Plans
  • The version always in sight: your account menu shows “What’s new in Inperia” with the version you’re using, and opens what’s new in that version in your language. You’ll also find it in the command palette by typing “what’s new” or “version”.
  • Your language from the start: choose your language on the sign-in and sign-up screens, and your account is created in that language, including when you sign up with Google.
  • Cell groups on the Starter Plan: the Starter Plan includes up to 2 cell groups, each with its leaders, its members and its encounters with attendance and report; from the Growth Plan up, as many as you need. Active and paused ones each take a place, and closing one frees it.
  • Your cell groups, even if the plan changes: if your church ends up with more cell groups than its plan includes, they stay in view so you can pause or close them, and they work again as soon as you close the extra ones.

Fixes

  • Pressing Enter at the end of a line in a note no longer causes an error.
  • The browser’s translator no longer breaks pages: instead, every screen lets you choose your language.
  • The “Try again” button on the error page now works.
v1.7.0

Care, Reports and each person’s attendance

Care Reports Attendance
  • Care: an inbox with the people who need attention (visitors not contacted, absences in a row, days away), the reason for each one and what to do. You adjust the thresholds in Settings.
  • Reports (Growth and Expansion plans): attendance, consolidation, care and leaders, cell groups and the network, with the year’s goals (also shown on the Dashboard), the month summary ready to print and the attendance export.
  • Each person’s attendance: the Attendance tab on each record shows their year day by day, by week or by month, with the note on each mark, and you can sort the Members list by last attendance.
  • Visitors’ QR: show a QR code at the meeting so visitors can leave their details from their phone; they’re saved as contacts.

Also: meeting types to classify each meeting, a quick count of who came, Notices and deadlines with your church’s timings, and a member’s record tells you why an invitation didn’t reach them.

Fixes

  • Care updates as soon as you log a follow-up.
  • Imports tell you why a row will be skipped, and exports tell you why they can’t start.
  • Pinned table columns stay in place as you scroll.
v1.6.0

Help Center, registration links and merging records

Members Contacts Help
  • Help Center: step-by-step guides for every screen, with screenshots and in your language, at inperia.app.
  • Registration links: share a link or its QR code so people can join your church as members. You review each request before accepting it.
  • Merge records: combine the two records of the same person into one. When you add a contact or a member, Inperia lets you know if that person might already be registered.
  • Delete for good: an archived member or contact can be deleted permanently, by confirming their name and your identity. Each archive gets a Deleted tab.

Also: “Only people you lead” on the attendance roll, and the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy now open in your language.

Fixes

  • You type the time on your phone’s numeric keypad, without the system’s scroll wheel.
  • When you archive a member, their pending invitation is cancelled and can no longer be accepted.
v1.5.0

Public calendars, report a problem and import contacts

Calendar Contacts Support
  • Public calendars: publish your church’s calendars from Settings so anyone can add them to their phone, with the meetings that are open to everyone.
  • Report a problem, free on every plan: from any screen you tell us what happened, and we let you know when it’s fixed. Support appears in the menu on every plan.
  • Import contacts from a spreadsheet: the phone number is required and the email is optional.
  • Referrals: share your church’s link; when a church you invited signs up for a paid plan, you earn credit that comes off your subscription.

Also: you take attendance by tapping each person’s photo, every screen has its own tour, and each rung of the Growth Ladder can have its own color and shape (paid plans).

Fixes

  • On your phone, fields no longer zoom in, buttons are easier to tap and the screen scrolls properly when you turn it sideways.
  • A mark made while the roll is still loading is no longer lost.
  • If a list doesn’t load, it now says so and offers to try again, instead of showing up empty.
v1.4.0

Cell groups and follow-ups for all your contacts

Cell groups Contacts
  • Cell groups (Growth and Expansion plans): your church’s cell groups with their leaders, hosts and address, and their encounters with an attendance roll and visitors. Each church chooses what to call them: cells, houses of peace, life groups…
  • Contact follow-ups: a new tab in Contacts brings together the follow-ups of all your contacts, in a table, as cards, by contact or by date.
  • Every list comes back the way you left it: lists remember the view and page size you chose, and so do the calendar, the roll and the tree.
  • Video tutorial on the welcome screen, to get to know Inperia in a few minutes.

Fixes

  • Notes are easy to read in the dark theme, in every text and highlight color.
  • The sidebar remembers whether you left it open or closed.
  • Screen readers announce buttons and menus in your language.
v1.3.0

Meetings for your whole network, and cards and tree on every plan

Meetings Members Plans
  • Call the network: from Meetings you create a meeting for all your child churches and the churches under your coverage, and see how each one responded. Available on paid plans.
  • Cards and tree on the Starter Plan: the cards and tree views in Members are now on every plan, and a church on the Starter Plan can now ask another church for coverage.
  • Follow-ups with a status: each follow-up shows its status and you can filter the list by it; attendance and notes are asked for once its date arrives.
  • Who else is looking: when you open a member’s or a contact’s record, you see whether someone else has it open right now.

Fixes

  • You’re no longer signed out if the server is slow to respond, and too many sign-in attempts are reported as such, not as “wrong password”.
  • Exports no longer get stuck at the setup step.
  • The Dashboard’s charts now match their legends.
v1.2.0

Bulk moves on the Growth Ladder, grouped Follow-ups and your congregation on the Dashboard

Members Contacts Follow-ups
  • Promote or demote several at once: select members in the list and move them to another rung in one step. Inperia asks which access role they should have in their new place.
  • Someone responsible for each contact: assign who looks after each visitor or newcomer, and find the person you’re looking for with the new filter panel in Contacts.
  • Grouped follow-ups: read follow-ups grouped by person or by day.
  • Your congregation on the Dashboard: a new section, with charts that show how your church is made up.

Also: you now enter meetings with their end time instead of their duration, and the Members list lets you choose what to do with the people who don’t have a leader yet.

Fixes

  • Switching accounts in the same browser no longer leaves the previous account’s data in view.
  • A half-typed date no longer breaks the list it filters.
  • The Dashboard no longer shows 0% when there actually is data.
v1.1.0

  • Contacts, Meetings and Follow-ups: from the first visit to the attendance roll, which you take on your phone, and pastoral one-on-ones.
  • Calendar with everything at your church by month, week or day, and in your phone’s calendar too.
