Church network
In Inperia each church is an independent account, with its own plan and its own data. The Church network connects churches through relationships that both sides accept: child churches, coverage and delegated access. It’s in Account › Church network, and the owner manages it.
How many churches your network can have
Section titled “How many churches your network can have”The page is available on every plan, but adding a child church or accepting a coverage uses one of your plan’s network spots: up to 10 churches on Growth and up to 100 on Expansion. The Starter Plan has no network spots.
Child churches
Section titled “Child churches”A child church is another church, with its own account and plan, that agrees to let yours manage it.
-
On the Child churches tab, select Add child church.
-
Enter the other church’s official email or the email of one of its owners. If that person owns several churches, use the official email.
-
Its owners get an email to accept, valid for 7 days.
Once it accepts, you manage it from your church switcher, without leaving the app. A church can have only one main church. Each church still handles its own billing.
Churches under coverage
Section titled “Churches under coverage”A coverage is requested by the church that wants to be covered, and that church decides how much access it grants:
- Read only: the covering church can see, but not change anything.
- Read and write: it can see and work on the church’s data.
To request it, on Churches under coverage select Request coverage, enter the email of the other church or of one of its owners, and choose the level. With Share my billing view, the other church can see your invoices and your plan, without managing them. The covering church accepts the request.
A church can be under only one coverage, and it can’t be a child church and be under coverage at the same time.
Delegated access
Section titled “Delegated access”With Delegated access, the owner shares with a member of their church the access they have to other churches in the network, at the same level or a lower one: to the churches they choose, to all the current ones, or also to the ones that join in the future. On the Expansion Plan, you can also pick the churches on the map, by drawing an area: The network on the map explains how.
The network on the map From the Expansion Plan
Section titled “The network on the map ”In Your whole network, Map shows each church of your network where it is, with yours highlighted. Each church is placed from its own My church page, and the map shows only its point, never its street. The same map appears in Call the network, where you tap each church to call it, in that meeting’s Attendance across the network and in Reports › Network.
When you delegate access with Selected churches, Draw an area marks at once the churches that fall inside it: tap the map at each corner, then tap the first one to close it. The list of churches is what’s kept, not the area: a church that joins later isn’t added on its own.
Network best practices
Section titled “Network best practices”- If the other church rejects your request, or if the relationship with a child church is dissolved, you have to wait 24 hours before asking that same church again. Ending a coverage doesn’t require any wait.
- Some actions never cross between churches: deleting a person for good or merging records can only be done from that person’s own church.
- If your plan goes down and the network ends up over the limit, the churches stay on the list, but access between churches stops until you have room again. No relationship is dissolved.
