Each person's attendance
The Attendance tab on each member’s and each contact’s record shows how that person has been coming over time: when they last came, whether they’ve been missing, their year day by day or month by month, and every mark. With that same attendance, Care tells you who to reach out to when someone stops coming.
What counts
Section titled “What counts”- Meetings that count for participation count, and so do cell group encounters. Your church decides which meetings count with its meeting types.
- Only what was marked counts: unmarked is not an absence.
- The figures are calculated when each list closes and every night, not with each tap. At the bottom of the tab, Computed says when.
The summary
Section titled “The summary”- Last came, or Has not come yet.
- Absences in a row: how many times in a row they’ve missed since they last came.
- Last 4 weeks and Last 12 weeks: how many times they came and how many times they missed.
- Usually comes: how often, in days, they tend to come.
- First came.
By date
Section titled “By date”The By date section shows how that person came over the last year, from the day after the same date last year up to today. Next to its title you choose how to see it: Day or Month. The first time it opens on Day, and after that Inperia remembers your choice in this browser.
- Day: a map with one square for each day of the year, across the whole record, with a column per week, a row per day of the week and each month’s name on top. On a phone the squares get smaller, but the whole year fits on the screen.
- Month: the twelve months of the year you’re looking at. Each month shows, out of the meetings where they were marked, how many they came to (“Came to 3 of 4 meetings”), with its percentage and a bar of what they came to and what they missed. Meetings where nobody marked them are counted separately, as unmarked, because they’re not an absence. A month with no meetings for that person says No meeting.
At the top you see the dates shown and, to their right, two arrows. If the person has attendance from before, the left arrow takes you to the year before, and so on back to their first meeting; the right one comes back until you reach the last year. Each year starts the day after the previous one ends, so no day is repeated or skipped. The record always opens on the last year.
In Day, the color of each square says:
- Came: they were present at least once that day.
- Missed: they were marked absent.
- Unmarked: there was a meeting, but nobody marked them.
- No meeting: there was no meeting that counts for that person.
On a computer, hovering over a square shows its details.
By kind of meeting
Section titled “By kind of meeting”If the person goes to more than one kind of meeting, the By kind of meeting section splits their figures: each type, Encounters, and the meetings For the whole church, no type. That’s where you see, for example, someone who stopped coming to the service but still goes to their cell group.
Every mark
Section titled “Every mark”The Attendance history lists each of that person’s marks at the meetings you can see, from newest to oldest. A mark at a meeting whose type doesn’t count says Does not count.
If whoever took attendance wrote a note beside the mark, such as “Said she was sick”, the note appears below it. You see it under the same rule as on the attendance list: at a meeting, with the View the attendance note beside each person permission; at an encounter, where the note is part of the report, if you can read that encounter’s report. On your own record you don’t see the notes written about you.
For contacts
Section titled “For contacts”A contact’s record has the same tab: it shows every time a visitor came. When you convert a contact into a member, their attendance moves to the member’s record. Follow-ups and conversion to member explains how.
In the member list
Section titled “In the member list”The member list adds two columns you can sort by: Last attendance and Last follow-up. In Filters:
- Not attended: people who haven’t come for 14, 30, 60 or 90 days or more, counting from the last time they came to a meeting that counts. It includes anyone who never came.
- No follow-up: people who haven’t had a follow-up for 30, 60 or 90 days or more. Only the follow-ups you can see count, and it includes anyone who never had one.
That way you find, in a minute, who to call this week.
Who can see it
Section titled “Who can see it”The tab and the Last attendance column require the View each person’s attendance permission, which the Pastor and Leader roles have by default. Each person sees the people within their scope. Last follow-up and the No follow-up filter require, instead, being able to see follow-ups. It’s available on every plan.
