Your courses as a student

You don’t need any permission to study: if you have an active record in the church, Courses shows you My courses and Available. If you’re also on the team, you find them separately, under As a student.

  • Now: the courses you’re taking, with your attendance on a bar that marks what the group asks for to pass, and a warning if you fall below it.
  • Passed: what you passed, in a group, in a one-to-one course or recorded as an earlier completion.
  • Earlier: the places that have already ended.

See my place opens each course with its classes, your mark at each one and your homework. The notes from the attendance list aren’t shown.

A student's My courses, with the course they are taking now, their attendance against what the group asks for and the courses they have already passed

Available shows the groups that take requests, with their classes, the next one and how many places are left. If you already have a place in that course, or you still have to pass what it asks for first, the group tells you why you can’t ask for it.

Select Ask for a place, or Join the waitlist if the group is full. The group’s teachers approve or decline your request. With the group full, you go on the waitlist and get in automatically, in order, when a place opens up.

While you wait, in your place you can Cancel request or Leave the waitlist, and ask again as long as the group takes requests.

When you pass a course you get the Courses passed notification, which whoever looks after you also gets.
