Profile, preferences and notifications
Your profile holds what belongs to you, not to the church: your details, your preferences and the security of your account. You open it from your avatar, at the top right, with My profile.
Personal details
Section titled “Personal details”In Personal details you change your name, your photo (JPG, PNG or WebP of up to 2 MB) and, with Change email, the email you sign in to the app with. To change your email, you first approve the change from your current address and then confirm it from the new one. Until then, you keep signing in with the old one.
Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”- Language: Spanish, Portuguese, English or French. It’s saved to your account, so the app shows up in your language on any device. The emails we send you also arrive in your language. You can also change it from your account menu with Change language.
- Timezone: the time zone you see meetings and follow-ups in. Automatic (uses your church’s time zone) follows the church’s.
- In-app surveys: now and then Inperia asks for your opinion with a short survey, leaving some days between one and the next. You can stop receiving them from here.
- Tours and guides: Reset shows you each screen’s explanation again the next time you open it, and your church’s first steps if you closed them.
Your church’s primary language is chosen separately, in Church details.
Light and dark theme
Section titled “Light and dark theme”In your account menu, Set Dark Theme or Set Light Theme changes the look of the app. Your choice is saved in the browser you’re using.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”The bell at the top right shows your notifications: a meeting you’ve been called to, a follow-up appointment, a promotion request waiting for your approval, a reply from support, a marriage waiting for your confirmation, attendance waiting to be taken, someone who came back, the month summary or, in Courses, a class without attendance and a request for a place.
- On the notifications page, the Status filter shows all of them or only the Unread ones, with how many are left, and Mark all as read marks them as seen.
- Many notifications also arrive by email, in your language. If you’re using the app at that moment, the email waits a few minutes, in case you’ve already seen the notification.
- Meeting, follow-up and marriage notices only arrive inside the app.
- Notifications are kept for 90 days.
Choose which notices reach you
Section titled “Choose which notices reach you”In My profile › Notifications you choose which notices about the people you look after reach your bell. Each one has its own switch:
- Attendance to take: an attendance list is about to close and nobody has taken it.
- Care this week: how many people need your attention and how many haven’t been followed up yet.
- Someone you look after came back: someone who was in Care came back to a meeting.
- Month summary: the previous month’s summary is ready in Reports.
- A class’s attendance: a class you teach has ended and nobody took attendance.
- Requests for a place: someone asked for a place in a group you teach.
- Courses passed: you passed a course, or someone you look after passed one.
You only see the notices that can reach you. The church’s other notices always arrive.
Browser alerts
Section titled “Browser alerts”With Enable browser alerts, your browser shows you notifications even when Inperia is in another tab. You turn them on in each browser, and the browser asks for your permission the first time.
For your personal calendar, continue with Sync and share; for the security of your account, with Account security.
